**Overview**

As a Reporting Analyst, you will be working within the IT Service Management Reporting capability to provide expertise in reporting analytics across all of Link Groups IT Services.

Working closely with our reporting lead to manage business requirements, for the creation of any / all reports both ad hoc and scheduled.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**

Strategic Focus
- Identifying and recommending new ways to streamline business processes based on the current operating model
- Continue to enhance our reporting platforms, utilising the latest technologies in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and PowerBi

Operational Management
- Manage the Monthly Client reporting process and outputs
- Management of a SQL database which stores key operational data on IT performance predominately from ServiceNow and various other IT system.
- Develop reports from central the SQL database utilising data visualisation tools.
- Interrogate data through the usage of queries.
- Interrogate system performance utilising 'SPLUNK' reporting tools.
- Produce client and executive ready reports.
- Establish and manage data repositories and collection systems that optimize reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns relating to key performance indicators in complex data sets.
- Build automation routines to allow access to information in a timely manner, while reducing manual efforts on repeatable tasks

People Leadership
- Co-ordinating operational initiatives to identify requirements with key stakeholders and implement accordingly

Governance & Risk
- Produce & coordinate audit reporting tasks for applicable capabilities

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Worked in cross functional environments and able to achieve outcomes across matrixed reporting lines
- 3+ years' experience in a Data Analytics and/or a Reporting role in an IT Operational environment
- Demonstrated understanding of the design, development of reports and dashboards.
- Strong skills and experience with SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SSIS/SSRS, and related analytics & reporting tools
- Exposure to ServiceNow, ITIL and Service Management would be desirable
- Strong collaborative and co-ordination skillset, a real team player
- Exceptional investigative and analytical skills
