Your focus will include:
Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
Work closely with procurement, contracts & commercial teams to monitor budgets, commitments, expenditures & forecasts
Liase with planning to integrate cost with physical progress & productivity
Maintain resourcing requirements, PAFs & rates
Assist with accurate cost control information including detailed analysis of budget, commitments, expenditure, VOWD, forecasting & change control.
Monitor and track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities
What you will bring to the team:
Prior experience in cost control & analysis in a project delivery environment is a distinct advantage
Tertiary qualifications in project controls, quantity surveying, commercial or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of ERP software (Oracle and/or SAP) and project control software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
