An exciting opportunity exists for two talented individuals to join the Corporate Governance branch as an Adviser, Corporate Performance and Reporting at the Department of Government Services.
The Corporate Governance branch aims to implement contemporary governance practices that support the delivery of departmental objectives.
As an Adviser in the Corporate Governance branch, you will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and promote transparent and accountable government by supporting budget and performance reporting to Parliament, Ministers and senior executives.
You will represent Corporate Governance to colleagues and through a shared-service model, support the coordination and delivery of the Department of Premier and Cabinet's PAEC hearings, annual budget submissions, annual reporting, corporate plan, and performance measure reporting.
You will have well developed stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience in project management within a complex and rapidly evolving environment.
This position offers the opportunity to develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders and be a valued member of our small, passionate, and driven team.
About you
- Demonstrated project management experience and producing detailed project plans including managing project risks and issues.
- Sound problem solving skills, strong initiative and a 'can do' approach to identify issues and develop appropriate solutions to solve business problems.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and organisational demands, with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
