The gynaecology department at Western Health seeks to appoint a sessional gynaecologist with advanced endoscopic skills to fill a paternity leave position for 6 months.

The role would suit specialists who have undertaken training in advanced laparoscopy such as an AGES Fellowship and who is looking for 1 session per week (0.1 EFT).

The role is expected to support the development of a tertiary level endometriosis service and will include outpatient and theatre sessions, attendance at perioperative planning meetings and clinical review meetings.

The successful applicant would join a team of specialists with advanced laparoscopic skills and will be supported by colorectal and urological specialists.
