- **$48.01 - $52.38 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation**

**About the role**
As an Events Advisor, you will provide support, advice and establish systems and processes to enable the delivery of high quality events across the Council. The role will ensure a streamlined, positive and systematic approach for Glen Eira events.
The role will work closely with and contribute to the overall work of the Arts and Culture team to achieve organisational outcomes.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal teams on high quality event planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with Council's vision and objectives, community engagement goals and risk management.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, or one-on-one support to build internal staff capability in event planning, compliance, and best practices.
- Provide advice on budgeting for events, assist with cost estimates, and ensure financial accountability and value for money in event delivery.

The following is also required:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline plus experience or less formal qualification with substantial relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering a range of public events, preferably within a local government or community setting.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including permits, risk assessments, and public safety regulations.
