**About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide waste services for Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) Waste Management.
The shift times for this position are 0630-1500, Monday to Friday (one ADO every 4 weeks)
About you
Provide removal of all waste types from allocated waste rooms, by physically moving and replacing full bins for empty bins and complete all required tasks within allocated shift.
Respond to 'on call' requests from around the site for services and be able to prioritise these requests accordingly.
Have an interest and knowledge regarding the various recycling streams found in a health setting.
Comply to the policy and procedures regarding handling of clinical and related waste.
Facilitate tracking of waste throughout the site including scanning barcodes to track bin movements, recording information on bin weights/bin movements onto spreadsheets when required.
