**The Opportunity**

The West Region Delivery Team are working on Sydney Water critical infrastructure to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facility management services for the next ten (10) years. Projects involve the construction, upgrading and maintaining of Sydney Water assets across water, wastewater and recycled water systems extending from Sydney's Inner West suburbs out to the Blue Mountains including the Western Sydney Growth Area and part of the Northwest Growth Centre.

Due to new projects and an increased forward workbook, we are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for Pipe Lining and Rehabilitation works to be part of the West Region Delivery Team constructing and rehabilitating Sydney Water's water and wastewater networks.

Reporting to the Networks Superintendent, you will play a key role in the delivery of water and wastewater construction and rehabilitation projects assisting the Project Engineer and site teams with document preparation, cost tracking and reporting, and operational governance compliance and reporting tasks.

**Responsibilities**

You will provide construction supervision to the site team including:
Primary Tasks
- Working with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, site teams, self-perform employees and subcontractors to complete complex civil and pipeline projects in line with our established processes and high standards.
- Responsibility to the day to day running and compliance of a complete pipe lining and rehabilitation site team consisting of:

- Pipe Cleaning and CCTV Crew
- Pipe Lining Crews
- Pipe Junction Lining and Sealing Crews
- Responsibility for the WHS, environmental, quality and community performance of the site teams.
- Daily production and performance recording and submitting to the Site Administrators.
- Using daily production and performance reports to make real time decisions to continually improve the production and performance of the site teams.
- Monitor, mentor, and train internal and subcontracted staff to become high performing teams.
- Reading and understanding applicable company process and procedures to a level that allows you to disseminate and reinforce compliance to those processes and procedures to the site teams in a clear and understandable manner.
- Act as a leader to others and advocate of company processes and procedures in relation to your role as a supervisor of site teams undertaking high-risk contraction work.

This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for site admin, an eye for detail, natural ability to work with a diverse group of people and wants to advance their career with a Tier 1 contractor.

**What will you need**
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar pipe lining and rehabilitation supervision roles.
- Proven technical knowledge of pipe lining works and understanding of risks associated with working on live wastewater assets and common risk mitigation techniques.
- Proficient use of information technology including Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Possess natural team building, team player and leadership qualities.
- Positive, enthusiastic, supportive, and flexible attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and have a high attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and organise workload appropriately, combined with a willingness to undertake routine tasks.
- Work is predominantly weekday day shifts, but ability to work some night shifts and weekends as required.
