**Purpose of the Role**

The Community Consultant supports Auto & General's strategy by developing and implementing community projects. Collaborating with the Senior Manager and the Employee Experience, Communications & Community team, the role fosters community partnerships, manages events and programs, and brings the A&G Difference to life.

**Position Accountabilities**
- Lead A&G Difference initiatives, including employee volunteering, workplace fundraising, in-kind support, and giving programs.
- Manage and grow volunteering opportunities and participation rates, coordinating medium-to-large events with key partners.
- Plan and execute community partnerships and events with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community and charity partners, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
- Support the onboarding of new community partners with the Senior Internal Communications & Community Manager.
- Maintain monthly reporting, reconcile invoices, track donations, and manage the community donation budget.
- Draft and manage communications across channels to promote A&G Difference programs.
- Participate actively in the Employee Experience, Communications & Community team meetings and initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing consultative support.
- Assist in implementing and managing a new Workplace Giving technology platform.
- Follow workplace health & safety protocols as directed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in communications, community development/social impact, or project management with at least three years' experience.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Experience in organizing events of various scales.
- Experience in reporting, budget management, and negotiation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, personable and action-oriented.

- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
