TheHatch Vacation Student Programprovides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills.
We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.
As part of ourDigital team, you will work within project teams assisting in the development and provision of modern systems, applications and solutions to support clients on their path towards digital modernization.
The work you will be involved with will generally focus on the mining industry, enabling integrated operations, using advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to create digital twins that provide real time decision support to operations aimed at optimizing asset efficiency.
The work may also include the development, testing and deployment of autonomous industrial machinery, vehicles or equipment.

Qualifications
You will have (or be working towards) a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Chemical), ideally in your penultimate year of study.
You should be interested in applying control-based software programming to real-world physical environments.
Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong passion for working closely in a team to solve complex problems.
You should also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and be committed to creating positive change.
The 12-week program commences onMonday, 17 Nov 2025.
Please note that Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 19 December 2025 and will reopen Monday, 5 January 2026.
