Here's how a Solar Engineering Student for our Gundsynd Solar Farm project, starting late November/early December, contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating drawings and work-specific scope/trades/sub-trades
  • Conducting trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates
  • Participating in project meetings and taking meeting minutes.
  • Updating field drawings and producing as-built drawings
  • Verifying site conditions and coordinating drawings
  • Setting up and maintaining records
  • Updating project schedules and creating manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
  • Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting is required.
  • You must have Australian Working Rights that allow you to work full-time hours to be considered for this role.
