The Operating Division comprises two business units: Qube Logistics and Infrastructure and Qube Ports and Bulk.About the RoleQube Agri are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join the team at Qube Agri Newcastle.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role is essential in facilitating effective communication between maintenance teams and operational staff, ensuring that all maintenance activities are aligned with operational requirements and timelines.
The successful candidate will possess strong time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, high accuracy for data entry, the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, and exemplary communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with relevant teams to publish maintenance schedules with consideration to operational requirementsCoordinate maintenance intervals in line with operational requirementsRegular upkeep of the CMMS to ensure all sites are updated with latest asset information and policies in accordance with OEM requirementsProcurement of spare parts, tools, and equipmentMonitoring and reviewing maintenance tasks against agreed timingsLiaise with contractors and suppliersSkillsMeticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExcellent time management abilities and capacity to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholdersIntermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CMMS and other windows-based softwareTechnical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineeringKnowledge of plant maintenancePersonal AttributesStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challengesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systemsCommitment to upholding company values and fostering a positive workplace cultureUp to 50% off gyms, studios, active wear, healthy meals, supplements, recovery and more through the Qube Fit programDiscounted health insuranceSpecial paid leave to participate in volunteering activitiesUnlimited access to employee assistance program delivered through SonderGenerous paid parental leave for eligible employeesOngoing learning, development, and training opportunities for employeesDiversity & InclusionQube recognises the value of an inclusive and diverse work environment.
