**Purpose of the role**

A member of the Strategic Capabilities, Cloud & Advanced Technologies group, this is a key strategic role that:

- Leads, establish and execute the AI product strategy and roadmap for Traditional and Gen AI solutions.
- Spearhead the development, deployment, and scaling of Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions within our organization.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical innovation, driving the strategy, design, and execution of Gen AI-powered products and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and unlock new business opportunities.
- Leads alignment and engagement with relevant stakeholders across GPC global and other GPC markets and businesses in areas of responsibility
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to establish clear success metrics and drive adoption.

**Key areas of responsibility**

**Product Strategy and Vision**
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Traditional & Generative AI initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify use cases and prioritize projects based on business impact and feasibility.

**Product Development and Execution**
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI (Traditional & Gen AI) products, from ideation and prototyping to development, deployment, and scaling.
- Work closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of AI models and solutions.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the integration of AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless adoption and usability.

**Performance Monitoring and Optimization**
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
- Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, iterating on solutions to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI practices, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies.

**Leadership and Mentorship**
- Provide thought leadership on Generative AI, educating stakeholders on its capabilities and limitations.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to showcase AI capabilities and thought leadership.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Partner with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions that meet user needs.
- Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive adoption and measure the impact of Gen AI products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and have strategic influence
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and take them along the journey

**Global engagement and alignment**

An important aspect of the role is global collaboration and alignment in the areas of responsibility across all markets
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across GPC global to prioritize AI initiatives, lead delivery and alignment across the globe from scoping till the customer release
- Build relationships
- Understand global innovation
- Leverage global advancements across different AI platform and initiatives
- Ensure what we are doing is well known and supported globally

**Strategic Partnerships**

Establish effective partnerships **where required** to support
- delivery of projects and portfolio
- cost effective and fast scalability
- long term strategic alignment and growth
- For major partners, we have quarterly or bi-annual QBR's
- We report on performance and outcomes

**IT Financial Governance**

Manage IT Capex and Opex in area of responsibility:

- Monthly measurement and reporting
- Work closely with GM as we balance Opex and Capex
- Ensure we meet budgets and targets
- Ensure financial issues and risks are effectively managed
- Ensure key decisions are made at the right time
- Ensure targets and savings opportunities and timings are clear and understood, and executed to meet time expectations
- Effectively report on key metrics

**Cyber Security and Compliance**

Support Cyber activities as required and as directed by group Cyber leads:

- Manage cyber operations to ensure the organisation is protected
- Effectively support managing incidents and vulnerabilities
