**About the Role**
Reporting into the Safety & Quality Manager, The Safety Officer's primary aim is to facilitate compliance with Safety guidelines within the SEQ Management system. Primarily responsible for preventing and recording accidents, incidents, injuries and work-related illnesses in the workplace.

**About You**
You will have experience of working in a high risk or industrial environments. This is a high pressured and fast paced environment that will require you to be extremely calm and resilient. You will have the ability to communicate in a constructive way and work with the business on the remedy for the problems identified.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or prior experience in a similar role and demonstrated experience in:

- conducting safety audits
- analyses and interpretation of safety data
- safety initiatives as well as the evaluation of outcomes
- working within a multi-disciplinary team
- the use of Microsoft Office computer software packages
- management systems including ASNZ 4801 or similar
