**About the role**
The Manager, Corporate Governance and Risk will play a pivotal role in managing the risk, assurance and corporate governance systems function and associated actions across Dhelkaya Health. The role will support the CEO, Executive and Senior Leadership team, Board and Board sub-committees with appropriate advice and reporting to ensure that risk, compliance and planning requirements are understood, obligations are met, and performance is clear. Specifically, the role will support the Audit and Risk Management Committee and other board committees as required.
To be effective in this environment, risk management and compliance must be undertaken consistently within a well-structured and understood framework that provides adequate transparency, oversight and action. The Manager Corporate Governance and Risk will play a pivotal role in supporting a robust risk management and compliance culture in all areas of the organisation's operations.

**About you**
- An appropriate tertiary qualification relevant in Management, Business, Audit or Public Administration
- Formal qualifications in Risk Management, or significant relevant experience in a similar area (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in risk management and a working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting legislation/regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines
- Practical knowledge and experience in internal audit
- Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with and gain support from colleagues
- Sound problem-solving skills and demonstrated attention to detail
- Effective planning skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
- Knowledge of risk and compliance software
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times, particularly when exposed to personal and/or sensitive information
