A fantastic opportunity presents for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join as an **Own Brand** **Product Manager**. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing activities to deliver the right range of Own Brand products - Hand Tools for our customers, at the right price point to achieve revenue and profitability targets. With a focus on the efficient development of products that, are quality products, safe, fit-for-purpose and meet our customer's needs, we are looking for you capability and capacity to hit the ground running.

As part of the broader Global Sourcing team, and liaising with 200 manufacturers in 37 countries, this role will see you based in **Macquarie Park**, with Hybrid options, sees you working closely with not only the cross-functional teams, but your immediate teams in Sydney, Melbourne and China.

**You will be Responsible for**:

- Implement and continually improve the Own brand product development and sourcing process
- Manage the Own Brand product range, including product development, ongoing range and product lifecycle management.
- Work collaboratively across Blackwoods, particularly with our Global Sourcing team in China, Quality, Category, Marketing & Sales teams to ensure we develop and ethically source quality products, that meet quality standards, are commercial and meet our customers' needs
- Mange project plans for product sourcing, re-sourcing and go-to-market, ensuring timeline adherence and transparency across all stakeholders

**Important to Your Success**:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Development
- Experience working with tools products specifically hand tools as well as general hardware items
- Experience with off-shore sourcing and a sound knowledge of their operations
- Experience in manufacturing, metals or apparel will be very highly regarded
- Demonstrated research skills and ability to interpret Australian standards
- High level communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement, negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to innovate to improve profitability
- Strong project management, execution skills and attention to detail
- Experience with hard goods and or in a product management role is highly regarded
