As battery technology experts, we specialise in the sourcing, storage, distribution and installation of automotive, motorcycle and marine batteries, alternators and starter motors.
Our mobile service offering includes roadside services, battery replacement, alternators and starter motor replacement and vehicle inspection.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to create value for our customers by delivering a first-class delivery schedule and service to our internal and external Customers across all areas within state, within a specified time frame.
It is critical that these orders meet their destination based on the delivery schedules as designed by the logistics supervisor.
Customer engagement and service is also a critical element of this role, in order to ensure our customers feel like a priority and supported with their stock, product and service requirements from Club Assist.
The role comprises of time split between Warehousing Operations and Delivering pre-picked orders across state as required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPick all battery & accessory orders as per requirements.Prepare each individual order and label its location as well as date stamp all batteries.Stack, wrap and pack scrap batteries as required both at the DC and external storage locations.Deliver all batteries to their designated storage sites and lock ups in a timely manner.Receipt incoming goods as per Club Assists procedure, including quality checks and voltage on arrival.Contribute to the Health, Safety & Environment culture at Club Assist, whilst ensuring compliance and adoption of safety initiatives, policies and procedures.Report incidents and hazards to the Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Supervisor as soon as possible.Ensure that the Warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy state at all times.Clean up any battery spills as per Club Assists procedure and report immediately.Ensure that all newly delivered stock is receipted and stored in accordance with Club Assist's policy and FIFO requirementsRemove all products to be returned to the Warehouse such as scrap, damaged batteries, warranties & rotations from external storage locations and record as per CA inventory procedure.Pick up all warranties and return to Warehouse as per CA inventory procedure.Ensure that all storage sites are left clean and tidy and are secure before leaving.Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with customers and clients, to ensure we meet their evolving needs, ensuring issues and opportunities are escalated to the sales team and/or Distribution Management Team.Ensure that all OH&S legislation is strictly adhered to at all times.Support cycle counting and stock-take as required in both the DC and external storage locations.Demonstrate behaviour which is in accordance with our Company ValuesComply with standard and accepted practice in terms of ways of working as applicable to this specific job and comply with all policies and procedures.Provide effective and efficient customer service to both internal and external customers and contacts.Minimum Skills, Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 12 months experience within a warehouse distribution environmentUnconditional Drivers License (MR minimum)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsCustomer orientatedSelf-motivatedPrepared and can perform physical duties (lifting weight of 30+kgs)Knowledge of an inventory processKnowledge of an accounting processDesirable Qualities and CompetenciesAny previous battery experience or knowledgeExperience in 3pl or other warehousing & distribution operationsOther Relevant InformationClub Assist is an equal opportunity EmployerThe incumbent will be required to sign off and comply with the Club Assist Code of ConductA background check and medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screen will be required to be conducted prior to commencement.Any elements of the Position Description may be changed at the companies' discretion and activities may be added, removed or amended at any time.Seniority levelSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionSupply ChainIndustriesMotor Vehicle ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Club Assist by 2xGet notified about new Warehouse Operator jobs in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.Brisbane, Queensland, Australia 5 days agoNorthgate, Queensland, Australia 1 week agoBrisbane, Queensland, Australia 2 weeks agoBrisbane, Queensland, Australia 1 month agoHemmant, Queensland, Australia 1 month agoWarehouse & Forklift Operators -
