Position: Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN)Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annumLocation: Port Pirie SA 5540Our client is seeking a Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse to join their well-established and respected medical practice located in Port Pirie.
Tasks & responsibilities (but not limited to):Ensure all interactions are professional and courteous with a focus on patient confidentialityMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsAdhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staffOrder & monitor stock, samples and clinical suppliesAssisting GP's with minor proceduresDevelop and complete GP management plans and Team Care Arrangements with the assistance of the GPVarious preventative/chronic disease health assessments including Over 75, 45-49, Heart Health, ATSI, Diabetes assessment, Aged care assessments Pre-Employment Medicals Venesection/Iron Infusion/ECG/Spirometry/Wound management/general treatment room dutiesTriage & emergency careRecall and Reminder System NIP/Immunisation's and cold chain managementRequirements:Bachelor of NursingAt least three (3) years of prior experience as a Registered NurseProven prior experience in a hospital, primary healthcare or general practice setting.AHPRA registration as a registered nurse Excellent communication skills to work in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskPositive and professional attitude Flexibility and supportive in daily tasksWilling to help other roles when needed.If you are passionate about making a difference in patient's lives and are ready to join a supportive and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
