
Maintenance Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join them for a 12 month causal contract, 40 hour week Monday to Friday based in the Kwinana area.
You will be responsible for all aspects of customer and shared user maintenance activities carried out on customer assets at Kwinana Bulk Jetty. This role will be required to coordinate, engage with, and manage works planned by customer and shared users including understanding the scopes of work, scheduling work, accountable as a representative of the company for permit to work, administrative support, liaising with internal maintenance and planning teams and facilitating all enquiries.
**Key duties**
- Ensure that approved planned maintenance and project work executed by external stakeholders and customers are completed safely and efficiently as per approved schedules and scope.
- Review scopes of work, contractor management plans and job safety methodology for work executed by external stakeholders and customers including preliminary site inspection and work feasibility assessment.
- Contribute to the maintenance planning cycle and ensure that planning and estimating / cost control information is provided as required and that all documentation is completed to acceptable standards.
- Coordinate, engage with and manage works planned by external stakeholders and customers through the establishment of effective stakeholder engagement process.
**About You**
- Engineering trade background, either mechanical, electrical or fabrication.
- Maintenance supervision experience and or project management in a heavy industrial environment.
- Contractor management experience in a production / operational orientated heavy industry environment (highly desirable).
- Well-developed organisation and planning skills including the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks concurrently to achieve deadlines.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with customers and suppliers.
- Well-developed job scoping, scheduling & cost estimating skills.
- Well-developed computer literacy skills, including experience with Maintenance based systems and spreadsheet development.
- Experience in conducting internal audits and maintaining and undertaking an effective system and process compliance audit program.
