This Section under a well-known Federal Government Agency, designs, plans, and administers carbon abatement contracts under the Emissions Reduction Fund. This includes refining and administrating current processes, designs and strategies that meet Emissions Reduction Fund delivery principles. The section facilitates client participation through client engagement and education, revision of internal processes, and improvement of system processes.

**Your new role**

Key Duties:

- Managing a varied contracts portfolio and proactively maintaining active, upcoming milestones.
- Assist and provide support in the maintenance and management of contract and purchasing processes.
- Provide independent advice on contracts and contract management.
- Investigate moderately complex matters, identify gaps and propose improvements for the contract management process.
- Communicate and provide advice orally and in writing with a vast range of internal and external stakeholders, and manages complex relationships, change and sensitive issues.
- Develop and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond appropriately

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant experience in Government Department and / or in a similar position. You must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
