Lumination is an immersive technology company on a mission to revolutionise the way we teach, learn and work.

We provide immersive technology solutions to Education, Government, Defence and Enterprise. Our focus is on the use of technology to disrupt the traditional classroom, through immersive reality learning and extended reality training simulations.

Reporting to the Head of Education Programs, the Learning Designer (NSW) will be part of a team that develops engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans, immersive learning experiences and unique content that incorporate emerging technologies. You will be delivering professional learning and development opportunities for teachers on site and in various schools across the state (and interstate), online or in a hybrid capacity. You will be actively facilitating and participating in our online teacher communities.

**A day on the job will see you**:

- Developing strong relationships with stakeholders to create immersive learning resources and activities
- Delivering immersive technology-based professional development courses for teachers and school ICT staff
- Engaging with our online teacher community, providing content, feedback and support opportunities
- Designing, developing and implementing innovative student focused lesson plan content specifically for the use within our Lumination Learning Labs
- Developing and delivering education technology focussed event and workshop content

**To impress us you'll need**
- A tertiary qualification in Education
- A minimum of 3 years experience in creating, evaluating and delivering curriculum linked educational content in a classroom or other similar setting
- Ability to connect the use of emerging technologies across the curriculum (Australian Curriculum, NSW Curriculum, Victorian Curriculum)
- A passion for and understanding of best practice when using emerging technologies like VR, AR, AI, and coding in the classroom
- A current teacher's registration, with relevant training in mandatory notification (RRHAN), first aid and working with children's check (WWCC)
- Engaging presentation skills, and a drive to build strong relationships with teachers and other stakeholders
