Due to continued growth, we're looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our busy Mechanical and Tyre store in Newcastle.

This is your opportunity to step up as the face of the store — leading from the front, keeping operations running smoothly, and creating an exceptional experience from the front counter to the workshop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Welcoming customers and delivering standout service with expert advice
  • Owning the booking process from start to finish – keeping customers updated every step of the way
  • Leading, motivating, and empowering your team to smash goals and grow their skills
  • Building long-term relationships with our customers and the local community
  • Managing payments, sales records, and stock like a pro
  • Working closely with suppliers to keep things running smoothly

About You

You're not just experienced – you're a natural leader who loves bringing out the best in people.

Here's what you'll bring to the role:

  • Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic qualification (essential)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of automotive industry or dealership experience
  • AIS (Automotive Inspection Station) Ticket
  • High-level diagnostic experience
  • Air Conditioning experience & licensed
  • Minimum 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience in an automotive service environment
  • A genuine passion for customers and creating positive experiences
  • Confidence with budgets, KPIs, and achieving results
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
  • Experience in the automotive or tyre industry
  • Solid WHS knowledge
  • Current full Australian driver's licence (essential)
  • Availability to work Saturdays (8am–12pm)
