• Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
• Location: Capalaba, Wakerley & Surrounding Areas
• Remuneration: $32.69 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts
• The Program: Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, while you earn an income. We'll connect you with government funding so you complete the certificate at no cost. (valued at approx. $3650)

About the role: 

As a Personal Carer Trainee you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. 

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:  

• Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity che
