Formwork Carpenter

No Limit Group is a one-stop service building company with an emphasis on creating inspired solutions and providing seamless services. We specialise in rendering, post tensioning, steel fixing  in Canberra.

No Limit Group is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Fulltime position with an average of 38 hours each week.

The Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting working plans for the job
• Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
• Safely operating hand and power tools and carrying out WHS requirements
• Setting out the work from these instructions
• Ordering and selecting the materials required as per dimensions and installation procedures
• Cutting, assembling and nailing wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials to construct formwork
• Erecting and installing concrete formwork as per project requirements
• Construction of other forms to contain concrete for other applications
• Assisting concreters when required

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful you must:

• At least 2 years formwork carpentry or concreting experience
• Have a White Card
• Have an Asbestos Card
• Have Silica Awareness Training
• Have experience in Welding Reinforcement

Desirable Skills:

• Safety procedures knowledge
• Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team
• Valid Driving License and transport desirable
