Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Crane & Rigging Coordinator to join our established and dedicated shutdown team.

Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. The Role

The role is a permanent position with Minara Resources manages and directs the activities of the central maintenance groups specialising in crane and rigging activities onsite ensuring compliance to relevant standards and regulations are met in order to safely achieve production requirements.

You will be responsible for:

Assisting with Planning preparation prior to execution

Allocating day-to-day work priorities to a range of disciplines, ensuring work is conducted safely

Reporting on preparation activity completion against set targets

Allocating manpower for tasks to ensure safe and efficient execution when required

Audit and Compliance Activities for onsite crane activities.

Communicating operational information to and from the leadership team, with various preparation teams

Assist with the development and management of documentation used during the preparation and execution of maintenance plans

Ensuring suitability and availability of equipment spares through close liaison with area maintenance planners and schedulers

Identifying competence requirements for work tasks

Measuring Team performance and implement first level discipline while motivating employees to perform

About You

This role would suit an adaptable problem solver with good technical knowledge, leadership, and effective communication skills with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

You will also have:

Qualifications/Licences in Rigging, Scaffolding and Crane Operating at least 5 years' experience

A Western Australian C-Class manual drivers' licence

Relevant experience working in maintenance plant shutdowns of fixed plant machinery

Demonstrated success as an effective leader in a customer focused environment

Previous experience in managing costs and budgeting

Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications

A high level of experience with using computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), with a knowledge of Oracle desirable
