SOS Personnel is seeking experienced skilled and safety-conscious Open Crane Operator to join our client's operations.

As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently. You will work closely with the site supervisor and rigging team to ensure safe and accurate operations in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

This is a FIFO role (working a 3:1 Roster) with flights from Perth, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile, tower or overhead cranes as assigned

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

  • Collaborate with riggers and signal personnel to move loads safely

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines

  • Maintain logs and records of operations as required

  • Assist with other site duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High Risk Open Crane Licence (CO – lifting capacity over 100 tonnes)

  • Minimum 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting

  • White Card

  • Recent police certificate

  • Strong understanding of load charts and crane capacities

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and communication skills

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments

  • Commitment to safety and teamwork

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical
