The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of small to medium-sized capital projects and maintenance activities within the Processing Plant at Mt Magnet. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating on-site project and maintenance execution in line with scopes and site requirements.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between contractors, vendors, and site management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and statutory obligations.
  • Conducting field-level risk assessments and supporting hazard mitigation.
  • Monitoring contractor performance and addressing quality or timeline issues.
  • Supporting procurement of materials, plant, and equipment to enable smooth project delivery.

About You

We are looking for a practical, hands-on leader with strong technical and organisational skills who thrives in a dynamic mining environment. You will bring:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical or Fabrication (Trade Qualification).
  • At least 5 years' experience in operations, maintenance, or project management within the mining/resources industry.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects in a fixed plant environment.
  • Strong communication, organisational and contractor management skills.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (preferably Pronto).
  • Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and associated Regulations.
  • Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance.
