Are you passionate about inspiring educators and creating meaningful learning experiences for children? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Educational Leader (non-contact) to join our After and Before College Care (ABCC) team on a permanent - part-time basis (.6 FTE = 3 days per week).

ABCC is an integral part of our Junior Campus, offering high-quality care and engaging programs for children aged 3–12 years.

Your Opportunity

Join our dedicated and professional team, delivering high-quality care during before and after school hours and vacation care periods. As the Educational Leader at ABCC, you will play a key role in shaping enriching learning environments and experiences for children.

While this is primarily a non-contact role, there will be occasions where you are required to work within ratio and directly engage with children, depending on the operational needs of the service.

Reporting to the Manager ABCC the Educational Leader will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs, ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place v2.0.
  • Mentor and support educators through planning, reflective practice, and professional development, promoting best practice and meaningful interactions that enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Foster a culture of inquiry, collaboration and continuous improvement, contributing actively to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, uphold child safety standards, and champion diversity and inclusion within a safe, respectful and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and deliver vibrant vacation care programs that inspire creativity, curiosity and fun.
  • Partner with families, children and the wider community to enrich learning experiences and build strong, lasting connections that support each child's development.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with ACECQA approved Child Protection Training
  • Blue Card
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience as an Educational Leader or Senior Lead Educator in OSHC or similar educational settings.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills, with a high level of professionalism in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering educational programs for children, with a strong passion for creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences that support holistic development.
  • Strong understanding of My Time, Our Place framework, National Quality Standards (Assessment and Rating Process) and Child Protection practices.
