Your opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring our students to explore and excel in mathematics. Your specialist expertise will support the development of their analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and confidence in tackling complex mathematical concepts.
- Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Specialist Mathematics. 
- Foster a positive and inclusive teaching and learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs. 
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. 
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. 
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development opportunities. 
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning outcomes within a professional and collaborative environment by applying your professional knowledge, practice and engagement to implement our innovative and contemporary curriculum programs. We are seeking an experienced candidate who is able to join our dynamic and collaborative Maths Department from the beginning of next year. The ability to teach Specialist Mathematics up to Year 12 is essential.
You will be required to engage students to nurture self-esteem, encourage self-reflection and develop compassion, respect and tolerance as a foundation on which they will build their lives in an environment that values education.
You will have:
- Queensland College of Teachers registration 
- Experience in the provision of quality, relevant curriculum programs 
- Highly developed classroom teaching skills 
- Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning 
- Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees 
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
