Platform Architect – Insurance (Guidewire)

You know how some enterprise insurance firms talk about "transformation" but never quite get there? This isn't that.

I am working with an enterprise insurance firm going through real change. Rebuilding their core platforms and rethinking how to deliver services at scale.

And we need a
Platform Architect
who can help us get there. Someone who's seen complex insurance systems before and knows how to move them forward.

The Role

You'll lead the architecture and roadmap for our core insurance platforms specially with
Guidewire
shaping how to design, build, and deliver solutions across multiple lines of business.

You'll define the strategy, set the direction, and work side-by-side with delivery teams to make sure what gets built actually fits the vision. This isn't just another design role - it's a chance to leave your fingerprints on the architecture of a large-scale enterprise platform that touches millions of people.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and evolve platform architecture artefacts – future state, roadmaps, blueprints, the lot.
  • Scan the horizon for trends that could reshape how enterprise insurance operates.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and delivery teams - making sure strategy meets reality.
  • Own the platform direction for
    Guidewire
  • and make sure they stay aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Lead architecture discussions, challenge assumptions, and guide decisions that matter.
  • Evaluate new tech, influence governance, and drive platform uplift with intent.

What You Bring

  • Deep experience with
    Guidewire
    (highly preferred).
  • Strong insurance or financial services background.
  • Clear understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, and platform scalability.
  • You can translate strategy into delivery and make complex ideas sound simple.
