Osborne Park WA, Australia Axess Offshore Pte. Ltd Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Axess Offshore Australia is looking for Inspection Engineers /Technicians with great attitude and work ethic to join the company and grow together.

Opportunities available for full time and casuals.

Trainee engineers are welcome to apply.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Valid BOSIET and Offshore Medical certificates (OGUK)
  • CA-EBS certificate
  • NDT certification (PCN scheme or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Engineering degree (mechanical/electrical) is a plus
  • NDT certification (3 or more NDT methods)
  • LEEA and/or API 2C/2D certification
  • Experience in crane and lifting equipment inspection and maintenance
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience
  • IRATA certification (rope access)

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and performing inspections/surveys at clients' offshore installations or vessels, for conformance to industry and clients' specifications and standards.
  • Documenting all findings and discrepancies in a satisfactory manner and according to clients and Axess' procedures.
  • Examines equipment, materials or products for anomalies, damage, or defects.
  • Produce and deliver in-depth and detailed reports of inspections, clearly identifying the scope of the inspection and any discrepancies found.
  • Work in elevated areas or with tasks requiring rope access, i.e. NDT inspections, DROPS inspections, or rigging.
  • Communicate effectively with onshore/offshore management.
  • Ensure all work is being performed according to all Axess HSE requirements, maintaining zero harm to personnel, assets and environment.
  • Working with clients, onshore or offshore
  • Onshore equipment preparation and support as required
