About the Role

You will primarily be responsible for providing guidance and facilitating formal training to fluid service representatives on company products and services. This will involve demonstrating how drilling fluid technology can optimize service quality, industry knowledge, rig schedules, and rig operations.

This position reports to the Technical Professional and will be on a 4 weeks on/4 weeks off roster basedat Roma, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of colloidal and general chemistry

· Volume & hydraulics calculations and routine & specialized testing

· Provide technical guidance of customized engineering fluids to maximize wellbore value

· Track material usage and maintain records

· Maintain good working relationships with operator's representative and rig personnel

· Takes an active role in mentoring Field Service Representatives

Role Requirements

· Completion of a STEM undergraduate degree

· Minimum 5 years' experience in fluid services operations

· Uphold strict safety standards to protect yourself and your team

· Collaborate within an inclusive, respectful and supportive team culture

· Able to travel around Australasia

· Hands-on field work in remote environments

· Computer proficient – Use of MS Office and SAP systems

· Team player with flexible and adaptable mindset

· Current Australian driver licence
