We are a busy general practice located in Willagee, looking to engage with a well presented, flexible, mature of mind, Medical Receptionist. We are looking to increase our small team of Admin staff to support and ensure the smooth running of our clinic.

Working closely with other staff, your daily duties will include:

  • Opening and closing the clinic
  • Welcoming and greeting patients, confirming patient details
  • Managing telephone enquiries in a polite and helpful manner, taking messages as required
  • Scheduling (and confirming) patient appointments, including recalls and reminders
  • Triaging patients and monitoring the waiting room
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail, email's and faxes, scanning and delegating documents
  • Processing payments and patient accounts

To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous Medical Receptionist experience in General Practice or Allied Health, with a thorough understanding of item numbers and requirements eg GPCCMP & Health Assessments. Experience with Best Practice software is highly desirable. You will have proven ability working autonomously within a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and a varied workload in conjunction with a busy reception desk.

We are open Monday to Friday.
