We're seeking a talented Finance Reporting Systems Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team based in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of Deloitte's finance systems, working across global and local teams to deliver high-quality reporting and process improvements that enable better insights and business performance.
What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders, as well as local and global project team members, to analyse, document and validate requirements for changes to our finance systems, processes and reporting tools.
You'll prepare and execute test cases, document new procedures, and contribute to enhancements and upgrades within the FP&A reporting environment. Whether you're improving data quality, testing new system functionality, or supporting the roll-out of innovative reporting solutions, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accuracy, consistency and efficiency across Deloitte's financial systems.

Our Financial Planning & Analysis team combines deep financial expertise with technical understanding to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decisions. We're passionate about continuous improvement and are always exploring new ways to use technology and data to enhance Deloitte's financial performance and reporting capability.

You may have all or some of the following skills and experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or finance reporting, ideally with exposure to system change, enhancement or upgrade projects
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail with strong data validation and testing capabilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
