Your new role

Reporting to the CFO, this position is integral and pivotal to the success of the organisation. You will be responsible for the provision of financial accounting services, including the preparation of period end close reports and the maintenance and development of reconciliations of GL accounts. You will prepare and analyse accounting statements and reports to ensure accurate reporting of the company's financial results.

In detail

  • Preparation of statutory and management reports
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management of Fixed Assets
  • Assisting month-end close
  • Providing assistance during processing of BAS, FBT and Income Tax requirements on a monthly basis

What you'll need to succeed

This is a great role for someone who can demonstrate experience in a similar job; one where you have displayed the ability to work with competing priorities.

You are an excellent problem solver with superior communication and you are at ease explaining financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
  • CPA/CA qualifications or nearing completion
  • Knowledge of Income Tax, BAS and FBT
  • Advanced computer literacy
