Senior Accountant 3-5 Years Experience - Full Time - Office Based Role

Join our well established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors in a Senior Accountant, Full Time Office Based Role. We are a busy boutique Chartered Accounting Firm located in Malvern and have a talented team of 40+ employees.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds.
  • Training and assisting clients to administer their accounting systems
  • Researching and drafting written advice on taxation matters
  • Being aware of existing legislation, current developments and ATO interpretations that may impact on the work you are performing for clients.
  • Communicating with clients and team members in a professional manner
  • Following the firm's current system of work practices
  • Holding the confidence of clients, both over the telephone and in person
  • Supporting other team members and promoting a positive team environment

To be successful in this role, you will have strong analytical skills, good communication skills and be able to work harmoniously in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years business services experience with a reputable Australian firm and be either CA or CPA qualified and currently working in a Senior Accountant Role.

Previous exposure to MYOB Accountants Enterprise, Xero and BGL 360 will be highly regarded.
