Senior Paediatric Speech Therapist
Eli's Place Allied Health is a vibrant and growing paediatric private practice supporting children aged 2–18 years with a variety of developmental, behavioural, and neurological needs.
Our clinic was founded by an Occupational Therapist who had worked in services that didn't prioritise their clinicians or their clients. We decided to be different. Here, happy, supported clinicians are at the heart of everything we do—because we know that leads to better outcomes for children and families.
We are proud to be a neurodiversity-affirming, family-focused, and outcomes-driven practice. We celebrate differences, partner with families, and work collaboratively to help kids thrive—at home, school, and in the community. Caseloads are varied and interesting, and we'll work with you to support your clinical interests—whether that's early language development, speech sound disorders, AAC, fluency, feeding, or social communication skills.
What We Offer
- 4-Day Work Week – Fridays are for your life admin, self-care and recharging with monthly professional development, team collaboration, or admin catch-up.
- 25 Client Hours/Week – Focus on quality, not quantity. Bonuses available for hours above this.
- Generous PD Budget – $1,000 annually plus monthly in-house PD days.
- Gradual Onboarding – We won't throw you in the deep end.
- Dedicated Admin Support – So you can spend more time doing what you love: supporting kids.
- Travel Reimbursement + Work Laptop & Phone – No need to use your own.
- Fun Team Culture – Quarterly team days to unwind, laugh, and reconnect.
- Clinic Resources – A clinic with two fully equipped sensory gyms, communication tools, and breakout spaces.
What You'll Do
- Use observations and standardised assessments to support meaningful, client-led communication goals.
- Provide individual therapy sessions in the clinic, at home, or in educational settings.
- Empower parents, teachers, and caregivers through education and capacity building.
- Develop therapy plans and resources for speech, language, fluency, voice, social communication, or feeding.
- Celebrate progress, write meaningful reports, and track what really matters to families.
- Collaborate closely with our occupational therapy team to support holistic care.
- Provide in-house and external clinical supervision to other allied health professionals.
- Contribute and uphold clinic policies and procedures within a leadership position.
- Create and contribute to in-house professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to a team culture where we value curiosity, fun, support, and reflection.
What You'll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
- SPA (Speech Pathology Australia) membership.
- Australian working rights.
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
- Passion for paediatrics and family-centred care.
- Excellent communication skills with children and adults (whether that is through face to face therapy, email communication or reports).
- Demonstrated leaderships skills and responsibilities.
- Ability to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning, and work with autonomy.
