Casual Front of House – Dining

The Green Edge – Windsor, Brisbane

The Green Edge is Brisbane's original vegan café, restaurant, and grocer — a vibrant, community-focused space built on ethical and sustainable values. We're looking for an enthusiastic Front of House – Dining Team Member to join our team on a casual basis for short weekday shifts.

The Role

You'll be the friendly face of The Green Edge, greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and delivering warm, attentive table service. You'll work closely with our kitchen and café team to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience that reflects our values and hospitality.

Hours:

  • Approx. 15 hours per week
  • 3 weekday shifts (around 4 hours per day)
  • Mostly for daytime shifts, with possibility for night time shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat customers with warmth and efficiency
  • Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages to tables
  • Maintain a clean, organised dining area
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
  • Support the broader front-of-house and café team as needed

About You

  • Experience in café or restaurant service preferred but not essential
  • Warm, professional, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Passionate about vegan or plant-based food (or excited to learn)
  • Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
