The Role
We're looking for a creative and organised Events Specialist on a 12 Month Maternity Leave Contractto join our dynamic Marketing team at ABN Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering a wide range of events that bring our brand to life—from high-impact launches to intimate stakeholder experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define event objectives, themes and outcomes
- Source and manage venues, vendors, suppliers and logistics
- Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth delivery
- Coordinate permits, insurance and compliance requirements
- Develop promotional strategies and marketing materials for each event
- Manage attendee registration, ticketing and communications
- Liaise with speakers and subject matter experts to build engaging programs
- Oversee on-site setup, vendor coordination and event execution
- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports for future improvements
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A degree in Marketing or a related field
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement
- Commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
- Experience in property, construction or real estate (a bonus)
