ICT Support Officer, Queensland Health
Join a team where your technical know-how supports something bigger: the health and wellbeing of your community. As an ICT Support Officer with Darling Downs Health, you'll play a hands-on role in maintaining and improving local ICT systems that help our hospitals and health services run smoothly. You'll work alongside a supportive team, contribute to meaningful projects, and be part of an organisation that values compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation, and courage in everything we do.
What your day will look like….
You'll start by checking job queues and coordinating responses to ensure timely support across the service. From there, your day might include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing or maintaining ICT systems, or collaborating with colleagues on local tech projects. You'll contribute to data management, help shape operational standards, and offer practical advice to users who rely on your expertise. Whether you're solving a system hiccup or refining folder structures, your work will be grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to help others do their jobs better. Every task you take on helps keep our health services connected, secure, and running efficiently.
Let's talk about you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire the following:
- Compassion – you will engage with others and demonstrate empathy, care, kindness, support and understanding.
- Integrity – you are open, honest, approachable, equitable and consistent in everything we do.
- Dignity – you treat others with respect, display reasonableness and take pride in what you do.
- Innovation – you embrace change and strive to know more, learn more and do better.
- Courage – you respectfully question for clarity and have the strength and confidence to Speak Up.
