The Opportunity & How You Will Make An Impact.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Designer with a strong background in greenfield projects to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape innovative and sustainable communities, working on diverse projects that make a tangible impact.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop innovative and sustainable master plans, urban design frameworks, and design guidelines, principally for greenfield residential and employment developments but also large infill sites.
  • Manage the design process for development projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive site and context analysis, research and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including local councils, developers, and community groups, to ensure project alignment with community needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present drawings, rationales and reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in greenfield development.

About You.
We are looking for talented professionals who are purpose-driven, collaborative, and thrive in high-performing environments. You will ideally have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in urban design, with a strong focus on greenfield projects.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality greenfield development projects.
  • Strong design, analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in design and analysis software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS
