Slitting Machine Operator

Whilst having experience will help, we are very happy to train willing people and can offer career progression from slitting & rewind machines with training to operate the main full colour process label printing machines.

The Opportunity:

Machine Operator – Slitter, Rewind and label converting

We are looking for a hardworking dedicated person to come in at an entry level and learn how to be an operator of equipment that takes large master label rolls and turns them into the sizes needed for our customers.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Operate slitter machine to slit labelling products as per the work ticket specifications
  • Follow all work, safety and procedural instructions from management that directly relate to your job, and the safety of others;
  • Ensure your work area remains clean, tidy and safe for yourself and others;
  • Report any equipment faults/breakdowns and assist where possible in the resolution of said faults/breakdowns.
  • Attend and contribute in any regular or ad-hock meetings as requested.
  • Understand and adhere to your role in reducing quality issues
