About us

Redback Promo & Uniforms have been looking after our customers promotional products & uniform needs for 24 years. We supply a myriad of promotional items & uniforms to customers all over Australia. We pride ourselves in great customer service & the vast majority of our work is either repeat or referral work. Some of our customers have been with us from the start.

Qualifications & experience

  • No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.
  • Previous industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Sound computer skills are required. Embroidery machine operation requires you to operate the machine via specific software.
  • You must be physically fit. You will be required to stand 100% of the time & some heavy lifting is involved.
  • You must have a good eye for detail, be self motivated & able to work accurately.
  • You must be able to work quickly & under pressure. We often have tight deadlines to achieve.
  • The role will also require basic admin skills.
  • A forklift licence is not required.
  • Must be a team player.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Operating our embroidery machine as well as heat pressing transfers with a high level of accuracy.
  • Receiving & checking blank stock for correct style, colour, size & quantity with a high degree of accuracy ready for in house & external decoration.
  • Checking decoration & order for accuracy before folding, packing & dispatching to the customer.
  • Checking externally decorated goods for accuracy before packing & dispatching to the customer
  • Maintaining accurate freight records.

Benefits

  • Tuesday to Friday 12.00pm to 3.00pm.
  • Mondays off.
  • There may be some flexibility to these hours for the right applicant.
  • Three weeks annual leave over Christmas / New Year period plus one week during the year.
