What's the role?

We're seeking a motivated HSEQ Advisor to join our team and support a key upcoming project in WA. You'll play an important role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across site operations. Embedded within the project team, you'll work closely with site crews and client representatives to drive safe and successful outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and support on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) matters.
  • Facilitating Level 2 Risk Assessment (L2RA) workshops to proactively identify and control risks.
  • Reviewing and updating procedural documentation to ensure compliance with legislation and client expectations.
  • Conducting site-based audits and inspections, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up.
  • Leading toolbox talks and contributing to workforce engagement in safety.
  • Mentoring and coaching new workers to embed safe work practices and build capability.
  • Tracking HSEQ performance against key project KPIs and reporting to management.

Who are you?

You're a safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. Ideally, you'll bring:

  • FIFO ex Perth 8/6 roster availability.
  • Rio Tinto induction (preferred) and previous exposure to Rio Tinto safety systems (highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating risk assessments and delivering toolbox talks.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach to mentoring, coaching, and continuous improvement.
