Perth, Western Australia Norcliffe Mining Services Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About the role

Norcliffe is a diversified Mining services Group, with brands including Roc-Drill and Enerflow Mining Services forming part of our Australia-wide operations.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time HSEQ Advisor to join the team. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, this role will be based in Neerabup and will support the HSEQ function across the full Norcliffe business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the creation of policies, procedures and management plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Support investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards including supporting with maintaining ISO standards.
  • Oversee the administration of HSEQ systems and documentation, including risk registers, audit schedules, document control, and performance reporting
  • Provide training and support to managers and staff on HSEQ-related matters promoting a strong safety and continuous improvement culture
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve HSEQ performance
  • Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics
  • Assist with injury management and rehabilitation

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualifications with a minimum of a Cert IV in WHS required.  A bachelor qualification will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a HSEQ role, preferably within the mining or resources sector
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and industry standards
  • Ability to support the implementation and management of effective HSEQ management systems
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and driving continuous improvement
  • Ability to travel to sites as required
