As part of our commitment to delivering complete end-to-end solutions, we are seeking a skilled and motivated person to join our growing team. This role is essential to supporting the high standard of installation and fit-out work we provide as part of our refrigeration and air conditioning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster, cleaning, and smoothing them to ensure optimal adhesion.

·       Measure and cut a variety of construction materials, position and secure panels, and prepare surfaces.

·       Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, considering factors such as temperature, humidity, and drying time.

·       Apply plaster or other wallboard materials to walls, ceilings or partitions using hand tools or machines.

·       Trim and finish surfaces to ensure a level and smooth texture, ready for painting or further finishing.

·       Perform repairs on damaged or deteriorated plaster, suspended ceilings, insulated metal clad paneling, matching textures and finishes seamlessly integrate with existing surfaces.

·       Ensure high-quality workmanship by inspecting completed projects to verify compliance with specifications and standards.

·       Collaborate effectively with other team members to complete refrigeration and air conditioning installations.

·       Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of finishing and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Skills:

·       At least one year's work experience as an installer in commercial or industrial settings.

·       A relevant trade qualification is required.

·       Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

·       Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

·       Valid driver's licence preferred.
