Wildflower Society Cafe is located in Macarthur Square and we're seeking energetic & committed CHEF to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team at Wildflower Society in Macarthur Square, Campbelltown. This full-time role requires an individual with strong culinary skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Experience in stock control is an advantage.

Duties & Tasks:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards.
  • Ensure food presentation and quality meet company expectations.
  • Monitor inventory and minimise waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, when needed.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines.
