Dental Assistant

Newcastle Specialist Prosthodontics (Dr Matthew Ma), is a family owned and run Specialist Prosthodontic practice. Our practice has been caring for patients in the Newcastle area for over 25 years. We are located in our purpose-built building in Charlestown, opposite Charlestown Square shopping centre.

Our team enjoys working together and takes pride in the care that we provide to our patients. A work-life balance is important to us, which is why we do not work nights or weekends. We usually work Tuesday to Friday with the occasional Monday.

Our patient demographic is diverse and ever-growing. We take referrals from General Dentists and other Specialist dentists. We take care of Veterans Affairs, Defence and Insurance patients in addition to the general public.

Experience with D4W is ideal, however a strong work ethic, attention to detail and self-motivation is essential. This position will allow opportunities for professional development, both individually and as a team, as we constantly strive to better our practice to ensure we provide best care for our patients.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Chair side assisting
• Sterilisation duties
• Processing accounts
• Appointment book management
• Administration duties
