About Spiire

We are an integrated team of passionate civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers, water engineers, and visual media artists providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. Our team of more than 350 people work across ten offices in QLD, VIC, NSW, SA, and the ACT.

About the opportunity

Joining our Brisbane office as part of the Graduate Program, this role will see you making a difference in the work you deliver—a chance to use your skills to contribute to the growth and development of Queensland communities, while being afforded the career development opportunities of a large, dynamic and privately-owned company. You'll get to:

• Assist with technical drawings of subdivisional road, drainage and water/sewer network designs
• Carry out design calculations whilst working to project timelines and budget
• Manage project administration such as scheduling, estimating, and report preparation
• Problem solve complex design challenges, delivering great solutions for our clients
• Strengthen your communication through gaining exposure to stakeholders such as developers, contractors, construction teams, local authorities and councils

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (within the last two years, or close to completion)
• A genuine curiosity and interest in land development projects
• A proactive mindset, with the confidence to contribute ideas and seek better ways of working
• Adaptability to move between different tasks and projects, managing multiple priorities with ease
• Strong communication skills—the ability to share information clearly and confidently with colleagues and clients
• Previous experience in civil engineering, through internships or work placements, will be highly regarded
