About The Role

Join us as a Disability Support Worker in our welcoming group homes located across Ryde, Eastwood, Denistone, Epping, Macquarie Park, Marsfield and surrounding areas.

You will provide compassionate, person-centered support across a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, and overnight awake shifts. Our 24/7 operation ensures our clients receive consistent, quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home setting (occasionally you may work across the Lifestyle/ day program)
  • Assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
  • Supporting clients with transport e.g. using CPA minivan
  • Being part of a fun and dynamic team

Requirements

  • Available for a minimum of 3 days a week, 20-25 hours (this is a minimum requirement - there are 30+ hours available if you wish)
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)
  • Experience as in support worker role, such a disability or nursing or assistant in nursing or aged care
