Our client is a well known Tier One Multi-National Engineering and Scientific Consultancy.

Currently they require a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in the mining and resources team in their Brisbane office for a 6-month + contract via Connect.  This Team is well known for designing underground mining equipment for base metal mines including conveyors and crushing stations.  The immediate requirement is for an Electrical Technical Lead to design of Vent Fan system for a Mine.  This will include leading other engineers and drafters for design of HV motor control, variable speed drives, communications, Switch room modification, dealing with vendor data and procurement.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with 10- 5 years' experience designing industrial and mining, power, electrical, instrumentation and control systems;
  • Experience in the design and specification of industrial and mining systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications and safety systems;
  • This is an opportunity to work in an experienced team of engineers and designers in a long term contract of good hourly rates
